Coming to Syracuse University has been a scary but rewarding experience. Being from Richmond, which is 8 hours away, I did not know a single person at the University. I wanted to take a leap of faith and try something new, it has been the best thing that has ever happened to me. I have had many amazing experiences that have shaped who I am today. Below I describe some of the experiences I have had in the clubs I am a part of.
Social Coordinator and Dean's Team Peer Mentor
Joining Delta Phi Epsilon has been an amazing experience, I have met so many amazing people while also giving back to the community. I am the social coordinator for the spring/fall 2021 semester. This position has helped me effectively communicate and plan events. This position has helped me hone my communication and organizational skills while allowing me to be more involved in my sorority.
I am a part of the Dean's Team Peer Mentor Program at Syracuse University. This program helps incoming students get acclimated to the University. I have led tours for groups of students while answering any questions they have.
